The Taproom just got a major facelift! We were fortunate enough to have a long stretch of perfect weather to put up our wood ceiling and porch roofing. Next order of business is to install wood siding and frame in the bar, kitchen and bathrooms.
The Hop Lot is officially a ‘hop lot’! Hops are in the ground. Two weeks ago we planted 250 cascade rhizomes in the main entrance to the taproom and also the hop garden which will climb upwards of 20ft next summer. We want to thank Doug Periard at Suttons Bay Hops for supplying them!
We’re putting the final touches on the brewhouse. Exterior doors are on, floors and walls are covered, electrical/plumbing complete and equipment is ready to be put into place. A few inspections are needed before we can start brewing, so pray to the beer gods that we’ve done everything that needed to get done!!
Drink My Brewcast was kind enough to stop by a few weeks ago and interview us about our progress, the beer, taproom, beer garden and brewhouse. Click the link to listen to the Podcast. http://drinkmybrewcast.podbean.com/e/the-hop-lot-in-suttons-bay/
